May I ask, why I can't submit my digital painting of Stana to the digital art folder? The only folders that I can choose from are: Featured, Castle, Drawing, and Graphics. Here is my digital painting: [link] I do hope that this will be accepted into this group
Ahhh, so about that. I'm sure i had all the settings right, obviously not!All fixed now. I have submitted you painting to Featured as i like to have good original work and i really liked it.

I thought I'd be nice and go to the source, but the source flagged me as spam and then complained about how mean I was to her in a journal post to her followers. So I'm sorry for having to post this in this group...
DeviantArt is a place of art. Hence the word ART in the name of the website. I am watching this group (and some other Castle related ones to which I will send this same comment if it happens again) and recently I get a lot of photographs in my inbox that were plucked from google images and what not. These photographs have not been made by the people posting them, so they are not theirs. Considering this is an art site I expect my inbox to be filled with creations by the people of this group, not a ton of photographs I can come across when browsing google images.
My request to you is, could you please moderate this group better so that only artistic things are added to it? This is what your rules say anyway: "You may submit any art to the gallery." If I wanted to see those photographs, I would have been part of a regular fansite and I am seriously considering leaving this group if this place gets cluttered with photographs taken from the internet.
I did not report the person as she claimed. I just told her what I wrote here. I understand fandom, I understand that you can like a person and photographs taken of them, but don't use DeviantArt as a place to share those photographs, go to a forum, or I don't know, open a LiveJournal account or something to share and flail over them with fellow fans if you want to share them so badly. DeviantArt is a place for artists to share THEIR OWN work.
